When you take the road test, you need to bring everything listed below.

The completion certificate for the driver license portion of the TEEN Driver Education course, or the completion certificate for an online or parent-taught course.

The Impact Texas Teen Drivers Certificate is only valid for a period of 90 days.

Successfully Signed and completed the 30-hour log.

If you are driving your own car: a working insurance card, a registered car, and a car that can pass an inspection. The test vehicle must have the correct license plates on it and a current registration sticker on the windshield.

Unless there is a current Texas Buyer’s paper plate for a recently purchased vehicle, it is mandatory by state law for an automobile registered in the state of Texas to have a metal front and rear license plate on the outside of the vehicle. Evidence of current, unrestricted auto liability coverage for the vehicle being tested. When checking in, the Texas Liability card needs to be supplied along with the paperwork. Digital or electronic copies are not acceptable to us.

A parent or legal guardian must be present for the test.

A current Texas learner’s permit is required. We are unable to conduct testing before the six-month period specified on the permit’s back.

Although we offer road testing, driver’s licenses are only issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety. To obtain a Texas driver’s license in reality after passing the exam, you will still need to have your picture taken at the DPS.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Â
Refunds will not be given for no-shows who do not have the necessary documentation, for testing without a legal guardian present, or for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. To reschedule your appointment, give us a call at 469-951-6789 during regular business hours. Please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your planned appointment in order to obtain a refund.

The $75 charge is due at the time of scheduling and can be paid with a credit card or Paypal account (a Paypal account is not required to make a payment). We do not take checks. After selecting “Continue,” a payment request will appear.

Significant Details of Texas Road Testing

The State of Texas mandates by law that all ages watch the relevant video before taking a road test with us or the DPS. Before the road test is administered, the completion certificate must be delivered to the Texas DPS Certified Road Test Examiner within ninety days.
